Hands & Voices
Hands & Voices of New York is a State-Wide Chapter of the National Hands & Voices Organization.
Hands and Voices connects and supports families with Deaf and Hard of Hearing children by offering resources, advocacy and impartial guidance. There are regional chapters throughout New York that host free family friendly events for connecting as well as virtual information sessions for parents or caregivers.
We are dedicated to supporting families with children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, regardless of communication modes or methodologies. We aim to empower families to change futures for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing by offering essential resources and impartial guidance. Through educational advocacy, accessible communication, and teamwork, we work to improve opportunities and create an inclusive environment for everyone.
We strive to create a supportive network where families can connect and children can thrive. We host several events each year throughout New York state, offering opportunities for families to meet and connect with other families of Deaf and Hard of Hearing children.
